ºÚÁÏÍø extends a warm welcome and offers our pledge to make your time with us – online, or at one of our signature events- enjoyable, memorable, and worthy of this destination university. Our mission is to define and continually refine the world-class hospitality at ºÚÁÏÍø, and to extend that standard to all ºÚÁÏÍø events through educational opportunities, event-planning resources, and creative collaborations with ºÚÁÏÍø faculty, staff, and student event planners.
History
Established in 2022 as part of the Business and Auxiliary Services division, the Office of University Meetings and Events (UME) coordinates and supports event planning across the University. The office produces more than 1,400 events annually, ranging from small meetings to large-scale ceremonies and campus-wide programs. Through strategic planning, collaboration with campus partners, and a commitment to operational excellence, UME ensures events are delivered efficiently, safely, and in alignment with the University’s mission.

Event Services, Support, Facilities Request Forms
An Internal ºÚÁÏÍø event or meeting is any meeting, program, activity, or event hosted by a ºÚÁÏÍø faculty, staff, or administrative stakeholder that has received required approvals and is intended to inform, educate, or engage the University community.
A Student organization event or meeting is any meeting, program, activity, or event hosted by a Campus Chartered Organization (CCO) or Registered Student Organization (RSO) that has received required University approvals and is intended to engage the ºÚÁÏÍø community.
An External meeting or event is any meeting, program, activity, or event requested by an external stakeholder that requires the use of University facilities, spaces, or services. External events held on the ºÚÁÏÍø campus include businesses, government agencies, associations, partnerships, social events, and film screenings.
